A couple of days ago we went to visit a friend in Timmins.  Before we left, we took these photos of some of his Egyptian Arabian horses.

Yesterday, Cameron and I took a couple of hours to go riding in the fresh snow that had fallen over the past week or so.  Mild temperatures, sunny skys, and fresh powder made for great conditions!

No, really!  This evening, we were included at a feast of local wild delicacies.  Among the selection of various foods was stewed wild rabbit.  In addition to a piece of leg meat, I also tried the eye, tongue, and brains of the rabbit.  No chocolate Easter bunnies for me :-)

Recently, Mom start to crochet again.  This time she is using an Inuit pattern to make what’s known as a “Pang Hat“; a warm, comfortable winter toque with a double brim.

I know I’m far behind the times in utilizing Flickr, but have now added a Flickr widget to my sidebar, over there —->>

I’m planning to use the Flickr features more frequently in the future. :-)

Recently my friend and the Missions Department Chair at GBS, Dr. Dan Glick, started a blog.  I’ve been blessed by his initial postings, and encourage you to check out his blog @

Wednesday morning I arrived home after two great weeks in the States!  Alisa was on late winter break from college, during which time we were able to spend two long weekends at her parent’s home in KY.

Here are some photos from our time together…
