Well, the internet finally cooperated long enough for me to upload some more photos from this past weekend.  Enjoy!

Graduation Weekend

On our trip back home following graduation we saw a couple of “big game” wildlife alongside the road.  Both of these images were captured by Cameron’s camera:

I have a batch of photos from the past weekend ready to upload.  However, our internet connection is anything but high speed right now.  Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon, allowing me to do a reasonable update.

Last weekend family and friends came to GBS to attend my graduation.  From Thursday evening until we started home on Sunday morning, every hour seemed to be packed!  Some highlights include:

  • Supper at Thai Restaurant
  • AiG Creation Museum Visit
  • Graduation
  • Grad Party (many thanks to the Reimann and Street families)
  • Boating
  • Walking at the Purple People Bridge
  • Goodbyes :-(

Once we sort the 900+ photos from those several days I plan to post a selection of them.

As part of an action-packed weekend with friends and family, on Saturday morning I graduated with a BA from GBS.  I’m planning to post more details about the last few days later…

Last evening Camp Meeting began here at GBS.  One of the three speakers is Dr. Wingrove Taylor, who shared the following thought during his message this morning:

“Time is too short and eternity too long for us not to be all God wants us to be.”

*Actually, they’re non-existent.  The slats were really removed to be royally refinished!

While officially known as the annual “Concert on the Lawn”, as you can see from this dizzying photo of their practice this morning, the event more accurately takes place on concrete (or pavement).

Here is a more traditional view of the same practice event:

Here is the illustrious group that went to Mt. Airy Forest last Saturday.
