All I can claim to have learnt from the years I have spent in the world is that the only happiness is love, which is attained by giving, not receiving; and that the world itself only becomes the dear and habitable dwelling place it is when we who inhabit it know we are migrants, due when the time comes to fly away to other more commodious  skies.

…because she is now my fiancee :-))

Yes, I am thrilled to announce my recent engagement to Alisa Street.  This past Saturday I proposed to her on top of Natural Bridge…and she said "yes" :-)

Well, I realize this blog’s updating has suffered in the last few weeks! So much has been happening, it’s hard to keep up…especially at the rate I’ve been posting.

The next couple of weeks probably won’t be any better either! However, I look forward to lots of updating when I have regular internet access again.

Hope your summer is going well!

Our first day of VBS here in Waskaganish started well with 50 enthusiastic children, with more on the horizon for tomorrow!

We are back in Waskaganish, and plan to be here until the end of July. I don’t have as ready internet access here, hence the lack of regular (or any) posts recently. Not to fear, Cameron and I are taking lots of photos and I hope to post some in the near future.

Here’s your random life hint for the day:

Using soy milk instead of real milk in coffee is not a good idea.  I have no idea how it actually tastes, but it definitely doesn’t look appealing!

I’ll spare you the details of a photo…

Wow…I have some catch-up to do!  With so much happening, hopefully I will find both the time and initiative to post more details (and photos) soon.
